who are we?

with a sincere approach to writing modern day rock. John Brough (writer/vocals/guitar) explains "It's not always polished but the songs hit their mark"... pausing for a strong mix of pineapple juice and spirulina he continues......... "as long as I'm able to stand up there and rock then I guess I'm in front" Bassist/Vocals "Jamie Fraser" resides in Brisbane city, John and cousin "Adam Casben" (guitar) antique the beaches of the Gold Coast and drummer "Paul Verni" is a country boy from the Hinterland. The lads put out an Ep in 2005 & another in 2006. Paul adds "We've got new stuff that we play live but its kinda slow putting stuff out as an unsigned band but the cool part is, we get to say what gets played and how we play it so I guess integrity is an issue for us" when asked to describe the sound paul also adds "Its rock, its loud guitars, a good beat but every song dont sound the same you know.... we're entertaining ourselves too" Flickerswitch have been on mini tours to Melb & Sydney but are happy to call the Gold Coast scene home.
